our heritage in motion
The Micro-Rotor is the next step in the fusion of the master crafts that lie embedded in Lebeau-Courally?s DNA. It combines state-of-the-art skills: those of the Lebeau-Courally watch manufacture in Le Locle, and those at the workshop in Liège, home to centuries of expertise in the creation, on commission, of exclusive hunting arms for art collectors and connoisseurs. Built around a new automatic caliber that facilitates the creation of ultra-slim, elegant, Swiss Made watches, the Micro-Rotor features new aesthetics and a bespoke personality created by our master engravers in the Liège ateliers, together with ultimate watch performance.

MICRO II: A NEW MOVEMENT IN WATCHMAKING
For its second range of manufacture watches, Lebeau-Courally has developed a new movement, destined to become the foundation for additional watch models in the future: the Micro II. The main challenge faced by our Swiss watchmaking atelier was to create a robust, reliable basis for slimmer, more elegant watches, whilst also ensuring all the comfort and precision of a traditional self-winding caliber.
SCALING THE GREATEST HEIGHTS OF PERFORMANCE – WITH A HEIGHT OF 3.1 MM
The Micro II, the heart of the new Lebeau-Courally Micro-Rotor watch, is just 3.1 mm high – and houses a fully automatic winding system, complete with embedded micro-rotor. With a judiciously small number of components – 166 in all – the Micro II movement embodies a new vision of mechanical minimalism whilst also ensuring ultimate performance and precision, achieving 28,800 vibrations per hour. The decision to equip the new ultra-slim watch movement with a 72-hour autonomous power reserve adds a further dimension of complexity – a challenge the Micro II pulls off brilliantly.
A MINIMALIST DESIGN ENHANCING CLARITY
The watch face of the Lebeau-Courally Micro-Rotor exudes elegance and sobriety, enhancing its clarity and ease of use. With its central hours and minutes hands, plus a seconds hand at nine o’ clock, the Micro-Rotor performs its sole function – that of telling the time – with admirable clarity. What is more, the austere design offers the perfect setting for optional, bespoke engraving by the Lebeau-Courally Manufacture in Liège.
BELGIAN AND SWISS MASTER CRAFTS MEET IN THE MICRO-ROTOR
The Lebeau-Courally Micro-Rotor is the first watch from the Le Locle manufacture to benefit from the contributions of Lebeau-Courally’s master craftsmen in Belgium: the top of the main plate of the watch movement can be engraved, at the request of the watch owner. Visible through an openwork section of the dial, the engraving highlights the unique aesthetics and personality of each watch. The traditional Côtes de Genève finishing on the back, and the workings of the movement itself, can be viewed though the piece’s sapphire caseback.
Lebeau-Courally master craftsmen carry out the design and execution of the engraving, wholly by hand, in their legendary workshops in Liège, Belgium, where the firm’s renowned hunting arms are also devised and assembled on commission. Each movement case is sent off to the Belgian atelier for its bespoke embellishment to be hand-crafted throughout. After finishing, the case is returned to Le Locle. All parts of the watch are then further assembled, finished, and tested – fully deserving of every guarantee offered by virtue of being a Swiss manufacture watch.
